Piggybacking on the other phone help requests.
I have been patiently waiting for my Verizon contract to expire so that I could upgrade my phone that is cracked, old, and slow.. I hate paying for phones so I have always done the 2-yr contract and received a subsidized phone. Now I find out that Verizon no longer does that. I really don't want to buy a new phone for $400-600 upfront or pay $20-30/month extra on a 24 month payment plan.
Are there any good options out there to get a good, inexpensive smartphone and stay on Verizon? I have never paid more than $0.99 for a good Android smartphone in my 10+ years on Verizon so I'm suffering from severe sticker shock right now.
TIA
