Headed to the store to select some brews to try. After reading the comments earlier in the week, I wanted to find either a Stone brew or another Michigan craft beer I hadn't tried yet. I was tempted to get a Stone sample 12 pack for twenty bucks, but a different, for me, Short's caught my eye, Huma Lupa Licious ... probably because it was marked down $2.50. So I looked it up on my phone and it was rated outstanding: 91 to 94 ... with a 7.70% ABV.

Really glad I snagged it ... it's awesome!

Cheers!

That is definitely a good one

Pandemonium Pale Ale by Short's is another one I like. Soft Parade is also decent, a nice summer brew, but only one or two at a time.

Beyond that, Short's makes a bunch of eclectic, if not weird, beers, most of which I am not crazy about. They are very experimental. If you are bored with the beers everybody else makes, you can always find something unique by Short's. It almost seems like they have new beers out weekly.

Thanks, will for sure give your recommendations a try!

For sure there's quite a few quirky but not so good ones out there! Down loaded a beer app on my phone to help choose new ones to add to my "life's list" .... One of my new favorite hobbies!
