Hi guys, I know there are a lot of experts in the Fort for medicine and just about everything. Hopefully someone can help me. Basically, I rolled my ankle or got kicked really hard in the foot/ankle area or something like that playing while soccer maybe an hour ago (just got home). It's absolutely fine and feels like it will probably be normal in a week or so, but I can't really run without it hurting or change directions.

I want to play again tomorrow (today was a pick up game but tomorrow I'm on a team and we have a playoff game), so what's the best course of action here? I think that normally you'd ice an injury like that, but if you're playing again the next day I thought I'd heard that maybe it's not a good idea to ice it because it won't loosen back up in time to play the next day. Any advice (the quicker the better) would be greatly appreciated! Obviously if it just hurts to much to play, I won't do it, but I wanna give myself the best chance at being able to play. Thanks!
