We lost a huge Michigan fan today. George Wiseman. We both grew up in Michigan however I met George some 20 years ago when I moved down to Florida and didn’t know anyone. My sister introduced me to a woman who said you just have to meet this friend of mine, he’s a huge Michigan fan like you. We hit it off and I think we missed watching four games in 20 years together and that was due to travel. I remember being on the phone with him against Notre Dame giving him the play by play while he was in France. We met some of you at the IMG Academy practice in 2016 (JimUmFan perhaps you remember). George was in the Ophthalmology field and sat in on many surgeries with at the time was the state of the art MRI Device for Optical surgery. He was very prominent with many of the top ophthalmology surgeons in the greater Tampa area. He was a born salesman - a natural. He was personable and he just loved people. He was an excellent pilot and loved to fly. Like myself we just loved watching Michigan football and were diehard Blue Bloods. We had soooo many good times. Here’s to you buddy - Go Blue!!
