OT: Tigers thread. Right there in one play is the difference in defense

and speed on the Tigers team from last season.

Gose hits one in the gap and our former right fielder, Torii Hunter, struggles to get to the ball to make a play on it. Now JD is not a gold glove guy but I think he gets to that ball. That's the defense part.

For the speed part, Iglesias scores from first on the play, after beating out a slow roller for an infield hit and Gose ends up with a triple. Do Romine or Suarez score? Possibly, they both run pretty well, but I think Iglesias is faster. I know Peralta doesn't score. I also don't think Jackson ends up with a triple on that.
