I have been following this story since Draft Night.
This was a curious #7 overall draft pick by the Buffalo Bills. The Bills traded 2 x Second Round picks to Trade UP to get him.
By some reports Josh Allen was the #1 QB on Mel Kipers Board (Who the hell is Mel Kiper Jr.???)
The Bills really liked him because he is a great athlete and he had "the strongest arm in the draft"
They compared him to a young Dan Marino
Allen has never been an accurate thrower of the football. On the night of the draft when Buffalo took him I fell out of my chair. I'm not even a Buffalo Fan. I said this immediately after the Draft.
Josh Allen
High School Completion Percentage: 54.6% 59TD / 15 INT
College Completion Percentage: 56.2% 44TD / 21 INT (Since when does a 2:1 TD/INT Ratio scream "NFL talent"?)
NFL Completion Percentage: 52.2% 6TD / 9 INT (QB Rating 65.5...hmmm)
52% completion rate does not get it done in the NFL...not even close
Yes, I know he is just a rookie but this is not going to end well if he is your pick at number 7 pick in the draft
