I've seen a lot of discussion recently about the NBA game versus the college game. I've seen many claim the NBA is a better product now and many more claim otherwise - many of those have stated they refuse to even watch the NBA now (just my observation of threads on this board). Personally, I love basketball. It's my favorite sport. I played through high school and play every day with my 4 boys today (and help coach when I can). I love high school and college basketball and watch those games often. I just generally don't like the nba game. That being said, I watched part of the warriors game last night to see curry play. I encourage my boys to watch curry and watch the spurs - that's about it.
Anyways, I know Isaiah Thomas is well respected on here. He made a comment that surprised me at halftime last night, but I completely agree. Isaiah said (paraphrasing) that guard / perimeter defense in the nba today is worse than he's ever seen. I just wanted to hear some discussion on his point, and see how those of you that think the nba is a great product now view his comment.
