I'm not very happy with how Disney is handling the Star Wars Franchise. The Mandalorian and Boba Fett series on Disney+ is pretty weak. The production value looks about the same as it did in the mid-'70s. The storylines are predictable and a bit boring. I get that Star Wars is supposed to be more fantasy than science fiction but I'm not feeling it. The best movie in the Star Wars Universe since Disney took over is Solo.
On the other hand, the Star Trek series Picard is very interesting. I like the storyline and season 2 has been very interesting. Unfortunately, Star Trek Discovery has become a vehicle for a social agenda, so I moved on. I don't mind some of that in my entertainment but it shouldn't be the driving force.
The Expanse has been a good series. I'm sorry to see it end.
Foundations on Apple started strong, but kind of fizzled for me at the end of the season.
I liked the first season of Lost in Space on Netflix, but not much after that.
Am I being too hard on Disney or am I right?
