I'm talking about Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer doing the broadcasting of last night's NFL game on Amazon Prime streaming.
they were very raw (not surprising) but overall they were better than I thought they'd be. Kremer seemed more comfortable than Storm. Kremer had good insights and anecdotes from her long career as an NFL broadcaster. they seemed to have a good rapport with each other
actually it was a nice break from Buck and Aikman. Buck is like nails on a chalkboard to me for some reason. it was a different sound for sure, and you didn't have Gruden or someone talking about A-gaps and route combinations, they were more about storytelling.
they struggled with transitions and play-by-play but they were done a disservice by not actually being "at" the game live and the fact that the camera angles and shots were whatever Buck and Aikman were talking about. they were in a tough spot.
