Hey guys...hoping someone has good insight on this...
Pollen count is super high here (VA) right now, and I think I’m experiencing a bout with seasonal allergies. The issue is that I’m not from the east coast and I’ve never really dealt with seasonal allergies before and I don’t have a great feel for how they manifest. A couple days ago I had the typical “hay fever” symptoms but it’s morphed into a very dry throat, and today a very dry and painful cough. The symptoms seem centered in my chest and throat. Today I’ve also added to the mix fatigue, and pretty substantial muscle soreness. I don’t have a fever, ear ache, or any of those other flu and cold symptoms, but it feels more than just allergies now.
Also, I’ve had my COVID vaccination. (I know that doesn’t make me immune, but it does make it less likely.). I scheduled a test tomorrow just to rule it out.
For those that may be more experienced with seasonal allergies, could this simply be that?
Thanks in advance.
