Well, I won on the ballot for an advanced tee time on The Old Course. Hadn’t planned on returning so soon (was there in May 2018), but it’s my favorite place to be. So, with that guaranteed time, we are heading back!

A few questions for some of the guys that go over there. My rough itinerary right now is
North Berwick, Castle (required with The Old), The Old, Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and maybe Dornoch again.

Two of us on the trip have done the other big trip with Muirfield, Troon, Prestwick, Turnberry, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

That trip is only one round per day. With the option of sliding in others. I kind of want to do Crail or The New on the day with the Castle. However, I also don’t want to fry the legs early in the trip and the day before The Old. Thoughts on The New? Or Crail? Use the day for the museum?

Aberdeen is well ranked, but I don’t know much else about it. Any intel? I do have a second hand connection to the pro at Cruden Bay and this I am going to reach out to him.

For the guys that have done Dornoch, I think I want to book that two separate days As it’s the least likely one I’d ever go back to because of the northern location.

I also think I may just plan this one myself versus a tour, since there aren’t any challenging ones to get on I don’t believe.

always up for ideas...super excited.
