My daughter is applying to UM (out of state) and it's one of her top few choices. My question is how much of a boost, if any, does she get from the fact that I graduated from UM (undergrad) and donate a modest amount of money (<$1,000) to the university (not the AD) every year? And does it make any difference that my sister also got her undergrad degree from UM?
