OT: Question about mortgages/loans for LLCs or S-Corps......

I have an LLC with my partner (it has nothing to do with real estate, but it is an LLC in Michigan).

We are thinking of investing in real estate.......how do real estate mortgages or loans work for LLCs? Is it better to be an S-Corp?

I knew some Fort people would have insight on this. Thanks!
