My wife has been in the hospital since last Tuesday with COVID, all of the common symptoms (cough, fever, breathing) are pretty much back to normal. However, she remains really confused and hazy. She can answer most yes or no questions, but has trouble with stringing together more complex answers. She is in the neurological dept being monitored. They are wanting to do an MRI and lumbar puncture, but with having COVID it is presenting some challenges for the safety of personnel and equipment.
My question to those who have experienced COVID personally or a had family/friend, is there anything you can provide me in hope she regains full recognition? Doctors are optimistic and believe she is experiencing "Brain Fog" from COVID.
I have been pretty sick my self, quarantined at home with my 2 children (they seem to be fairing much much better), I am just looking for something to hold on it.
