OT: Pasting images in a post from Mac

Since the new board was rolled out, I haven't been able to figure out how to place an image in my posts. I'm trying to do this from a Mac, i.e. no "right-click, left-click." When I try to insert by using the URL of the image, I get the message "Something went wrong. Please contact the administrator."

Can someone give me a primer?
