Who gets your vote / who do you think wins it?
Pete Alonso - .268 average, 350 ABs, 32 HRs (3rd in the NL), 72 RBIs (6th in NL) and .974 OPS (5th in NL); 102 Ks (8th in NL).
Mike Soroka - 10-1 record in 16 starts (11 QS), 96.1 innings, 2.24 ERA (2nd in NL), 1.05 WHIP (5th in NL), 82/22 K/BB ratio.
There's a lot of baseball left to be played -- Alonso was the early leader by a wide margin, but I think Soroka is making a race out of it.
[Full disclosure, I'm a Braves fan and detest the Mets. That said, ESPN also ranks Soroka 2nd in the NL Cy Young Award Race, so it's not outrageous that he'd be in close competition for the ROY as well.]
