I’m in the beginning stages of trying to plan a group golf trip up north with some buddies. To those of you that have done something similar, I had some questions I was hoping you could help answer for me.
1) What’s the best way to go about securing the best deals & pricing? Should I be calling the courses/resorts, or booking online.
2) What’s a good number to shoot for with regards to guys going on the trip? I’m hoping to get 12, but I think 8 is likely a more realistic number at this point.
3) What did you do about food/alcohol? Is it better to have everyone contribute money and get everything prior to the trip? Or is it not worth the hassle.
4) What courses/resorts have you been to and would recommend? I’m thinking somewhere around Gaylord, but I’m certainly open to other suggestions.
