I've heard about horror stories about sending postcards from Mexico. Well, I actually I read the horror stories on the internet after waiting a week and wondering why my wife never received the postcard I sent her (that's another story). Initially I was ready to jump the postman, thinking he had added it to his postcard collection. Then I did an internet search on sending postcards from Mexico. Some said it typically takes months. Others said it could take years. Some folks claim the Mexican postal system is so screwed up that the postcard my never reach it's destination! Well, I guess I beat the odds. My wife got her postcard today after only 7 weeks!
