Killing time in the hotel coffee shop to see if our daughter gets discharged today. After 10+ days of illness, 2 ER visits, and 3 visits to her MD, they’ve diagnosed mono. Her liver enzymes are really elevated, in particular.
Haven’t been down this path before. Anyone with first-hand experience? Just wondering what we can expect. Daughter wants to go join friends to hang out at their house and take her “j-term” online in January but I’m pessimistic after talking to her MD. I think a more realistic timeline is to be on campus when classes start in February.
