Schmo you should like this buddy....
Having never been to a NBA game in my life, my family and I finally bought some tickets for the opening game of round two of the Eastern Conference Semis between the Bulls and Cavs. Admittingly, I havent watched much NBA for a while, as I am so obsessed with everything Michigan. But my son Caleb and I really got into the season this year and I have grown to LOVE Derrick Rose! All that he has been through injury wise and he keeps coming back..it really resonted with me and really ties into what ym cltohign line, Last 1 Standing, stands for as well!
So anyways, sorry to ramble...my son and I got tickets in the first row behind the Bull's bench. We bought a Rose jersey in HOPES of having him sign it, but I honestly did not know how realistic that would be. We got there once the doors opened and rushed won to our seats..WOW!!! Amazing and right in front of us were Noah and ROSE shooting around! I am not gonna lie, I felt like a kid again and was starstruck. Caleb was blown away as well. Then Rose started to come off of the court and was stopped by a group of 3 or 4 kids wanting an autograph. I grabbed caleb and the jersey and yelled over to Rose, "Hey Derrick would you mind signing my son's jersey?". He said sure and we rushed over and he even stopped and asked me to hold up the jersey the right way so he could sign it nicely. I wished him well and he thanked me and said he appreciated the support. Extremely humble guy and it made both of our nights. What a class act. Noah also came over and signed for us and was extremely cool. Same with Mirotic, Mcdermott, and Dunleavy. Later on, Pippen walked in and sat down right in front us ...and then Chris Webber walked by en route to doing the play-by-play. Man, what a night seeing these guys in person. Sorry to ramble, but it was worth every penny those tickets cost us and more!
