OT: MacBook users...What does the spining blue/dark blue quadrant circle mean when loading a site?..

...I have a used 2009 model that is increasing slow as shit.

I usually get the rainbow pinwheel of death, but this is a new one.

Any fixes besides throwing this out the window?
