Was close friends with my buddy Frank for over 35 years. We essentially grew up together. Frank went to Wayne State but he and another good friend Vince were up almost every weekend going to parties with us, tailgating, and of course the football games.
After college we grew even closer all of us guys always hanging out at each other’s houses to the point we called all of our Mom’s “Mom” and our Moms would love to cook for all the
A few years later I met my now wife and Frank and I went to a party she and her friends had where Frank was introduced to his wife Janet. They dated fell and love and got married.
Years later they had three kids Christina who now works in the financial field, Lia who just got into a physical therapy program and the youngest Anthony who is in High School and plays travel hockey.
Holding them in my arms last night while they were sobbing was about the hardest thingI
I’ve ever had to do in my life. Their family is devastated.
Life is precious and it changes in an instant. Please hug your loved ones and always remember to tell them you love them.
