Hi All,
First off sorry for the off-topic post. I typically love to joke around and be silly with my fellow Fort members. Yesterday, I was let go from my job in software sales. I've had a rough road the last few years as I've made a move from finance to technology.
I used to be in institutional equity sales, which is a dying business. I exited that in 2015 after 10+ years. I switched to technology, which is fast growth and a lot of excitement and longevity. That said, technology sales has proven to be challenging and completely hit or miss especially when working at a start-up.
So I wanted to send out a quick post to my fellow Wolverines to see if anyone knew of any opportunities, had any advice, or general thoughts. Despite the track record shared here, I am an extremely hard-working and intelligent person. I graduated from Michigan in 2005 and currently live in New York, where I am looking for a new opportunity. Let me know if you have any ideas or can be of any help. I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you all and, as always, Go Blue!
