a friend of mine is getting married in July. He put a down payment down of $800 on two trolleys for their wedding transportation.

The lady went ice cold and stopped returning emails/calls in January after he paid.

A few weeks ago, she posted on the company Facebook page that they were shutting down and then deleted any comments when he would ask for his security deposit.

He has left her multiple emails, texts and voicemails. He just wants his money back, he is a smart guy and understands business can change.

It's a "small" town over here in GR and it could get real embarrassing for this lady as she is known around town. Money isn't a factor, for some reason she has just gone ghost.

What would be the actual process, as thankfully other than small landlord/tenant stuff, I have never dealt with lawsuits.

Thanks
