I don't know if it was discussed somewhere when it was announced, but Kim Ng being named GM of the Marlins is quite a thing. That's a tough gig considering that the new owners don't seem to want to spend money, although the team did make the expanded playoffs. Good luck to her. The next thing will be someone like Becky Hammon getting an NBA HC job.
