And make no mistake, they were cheated.

The non-call strip sack fumble was one thing, but that could be excused and overlooked in this new age of "sissyfied football". That was just a bad call. But the overturn of the Hyde first down equated to just straight up robbery by the league. And the thing that gets me, is the fact that the ball was already marked a half yard short of what it should have been, when the refs on the field originally gave him the first down. And yet, they still made the right call and awarded him a first down. So when the league office comes in and reverses the call and spot, this was simply absurd and questionably criminal.

This was a situation where I believed, as did the game announcer, that once they reviewed the play, they'd not only not overturn the call, but would actually discover that the Browns were cheated out of a half yard on the original spot. But that certainly turned out not to be correct. Lol!

And before anyone comes back and asks if I lost money on the game, I'll tell you it was actually just the opposite; I had the Raiders minus 2 1/2. But I hate to see a team get cheated like that. They deserved to win the game, and I sincerely believe the league tried to aid the Raiders simply because they didn't want to see Gruden lose again and take so much criticism and ridicule --- especially after how the whole Mack situation went down. It looks bad for the league when the player gets the last laugh. You have to protect "the Shield!"
