I was walking through a parking lot and saw an elderly man shuffling toward me and I noticed that he was wearing a Veterans ball cap as I got closer I could see that embroidered on the hat was "Pearl Harbor Survivor". I asked him if I could shake his hand and we chatted briefly. He told me he was 99 years old I thanked him for his heroic service and wished him well.
