I have been an institutional equity investor (small cap growth) since 1998 - the melt up of .com names was breathtaking, so this Bitcoin mania has my attention - I have done some work on the blockchain technology, it is complex/bewildering to mortals such as myself to grasp and handicap the ultimate success of currency operating outside of a sovereign entity. I do not have the fortitude to invest even a modest amount on Bitcoin, but was very intrigued as it fell from $5,000 to close to $3,000 - like magic, it is again >$5,000. Not pumping or panning, just sharing a rare event in investing.
