I think this is a good idea if only because Ford Field will finally get used more than 30 time s a year. I think my 30 times a year figure is generous: 8 Lions home games, a weekend of high school football championship games, a PSL game or two, and the occasional concert/miscellaneous activity.
I do think it's stupid that there isn't natural grass.
