The directors for the final season have finally been revealed, and they're bringing back two of the finest in GoT history to wrap this story up...
Miguel Sapochnik – Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards, The Winds of Winter
David Nutter – The Rains of Castamere, Mother's Mercy, The Dance of Dragons
David Benioff and D. B. Weiss will direct the finale.
Thrones begins production on its final season in October and will continue into the spring of next year. HBO has not announced if the show will return in 2018 or, quite possibly, 2019.
