Just took a quick spin through the Men's Singles Draw for the French Open. Here's worst-case scenario for each of the top 4 seeds:
Djokovic (1-seed): 3R - Gilles Simon, 4R - Coric, QF - Zverev, SF - Thiem
Nadal (2-seed): 3R - Goffin, 4R - G. Pella, QF - Nishikori/Medvedev, SF - Federer/Tsitsipas
Federer (3-seed): 3R - Berrettini, 4R - Cecchinato, QF - Tsitsipas, SF - Nadal
Thiem (4-seed): 3R - Edmund, 4R - Monfils, QF - Del Potro, SF - Djokovic
To me, Djokovic has the toughest stretch 4R/QF/SF -- all three of those are really tough opponents on clay that could beat Djoker. Fed has the easiest path to the QF, but Tsitsipas/Nadal is easily the hardest QF/SF path. Thiem and Nadal are virtual locks for the SF in my opinion. Just glad to have the Maestro back out there -- hopefully he's healthy and can make a run.
