First, if you have Wi-Fi on - turn it off.
while in the Safari Program select the COMAND+OPTION+ESC keys and select SAFARI from the option list. Press "Force Quit" option.
When you restart Safari hold the SHIFT KEY down while restarting Safari.
Your normal Safari window should appear.
