So we’re visiting my in-laws and my two dogs are in the yard while company is over. They live out in the sticks (Manchester, Mi, about 30 mins west of Ann Arbor) so there’s not really much around. Lots of state land and wooded areas. Both dogs got out, but one came back after looking for them for about 20mins. Been driving all over, and stopped every so often calling her name. My wife and kids are so upset and I can’t help but to feel guilty for not keeping a better eye on them while in a yard I always thought they could escape. It’s in the mid 20’s so I’m really worried. Has anyone here ever had a dog get out? How long has your pet been missing? Any tips would be appreciated.
Edit: As my wife and I were dosing off she heard something outside. As she checked the back deck she heard her yelp and she was standing there. She seems fine beside the fact that she stinks!! Thanks Fort, I have no doubt you guys had something to do with her return
