Lions DC Paul Pasqualoni, who was Syracuse's head coach the last time the Orange (then the Orangemen) were ranked as highly as they are now, said he's happy to see the school have success in football again. He particularly praised Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey. "I think Eric Dungey is a very competitive, very, very tough guy at the quarterback position," Pasqualoni said. "And like every program, every football program in America, you need a good quarterback at this level and at that level, the Division I level, to win. And I think Eric Dungey gives them that and hope that they can be successful throughout the season."
