Okay, this should be an easy one for the Fort. My wife's Birthday is in a couple weeks. I bought tickets for the Van Gogh Exhibit. I don't know much about Detroit at all. I need advice on a hotel. I've stayed at the Renaissance Center before, it was nice with nice views, but looking for alternatives. I'm not really interested in fancy or glitzy, but something interesting and maybe a little bit different.
I want to go to the Eastern Market (haven't been in a while), what else should be on the list?
As far as dinner, a good, more classic place, not one of these new menu, blow torch aided meals.
Thanks in advance! Seafood and or steaks are always good, I used to sell my shrimp to a lot of these places, but it was all via a broker, I didn't know any of them.
