So a little back story...
My dad passed two years ago. I'm 33 now and have lived in Florida since I was 17. From the age of 6 months until I was 17, I probably went to 80 michigan football games with my dad. Michigan football was everything to us. Even when I became a cranky teenager and we couldn't get along at all, we still had michigan football. I haven't been to a game since I was 21 it was me and my dad's last game together before early alzheimers set on for him. (He had me when he was 44). Today I found a video of that day of the michigan marching band pre game and I lost it. I went full melt down mode and cried my eyes out like a moody woman watching the notebook. It was so powerful and emotional. I plan on flying up this year hopefully to take my 3 year old to his first game at the big house and I'm going to be an emotional wreck. Michigan football is more than just a game to me, it represents the best days of my life with my father!
Sorry for the rant.... my wife doesn't understand it and I needed to share with people who feel the same about the Wolverines and being at the big house!
