Sorry for another Covid thread but need some recommendations. I think we know the answer but figured getting more assurance would help.
Last week Wednesday my daughter went to youth group where she apparently had close contact with someone that tested positive, which we didn’t learn until this week Wednesday. They were all wearing masks during her youth group night. She went to school last Thursday, Friday, played in a lax tournament all weekend, and back to school Monday through Wednesday of this week. She was sent home from school and told to quarantine until next Thursday. Only out until Thursday because her time/days counted towards the 14 days. Still doesn’t make sense to me. Wife and I, along with 3 other kids do not need to quarantine. Also doesn’t make sense.
My question: she has another lacrosse tournament this weekend playing 3-4 games on Sunday. My son will be playing in the tournament. The program director said he hasn’t been contacted by health department so it’s ultimately our choice to whether she plays.
No symptoms and feeling completely fine. Out of caution I’m thinking she shouldn’t play and out of respect of others. But if she was infected then likely the rest of us are as well.
