Okay guys, help me out. I was just offered a new job by a former employer. 10K more than I make now but 20K less than I've made in the past and was hoping to get.
What is the better approach for counter offer.
Ask for what I was hoping to get and hope for a new offer?
Or ask them to meet me halfway?
As I said, it's a former employer, that takes care of their people, eliminates having to travel and benefits package is very similar to what I'm used to getting. Plus alot less stress than my current role.
