Wife drives a Honda Odyssey. She loves the room but the car is just not nice in the road. It is a tin can, lots of road noise, hasn’t been overly reliable on long trips for her. 6yrs old, 46k Miles, so gives you an indication that it isn’t driven very hard.

Have looked at the Volvo XC90, Audi Q7, Buick Enclave and the Chevy Traverse.

The volvo is actually a very high performing car, by also expensive and I am now heari g that friends have had a lot of issues with theirs. Also heard can be expensive on the maintenance side.

Audi is nice but not a lot of space inside.

Enclave has a lot of space for this class of vehicle, so far my wife likes best. Very nice, also pretty reasonably priced.

I am looking at the Chevy Traverse though and really like it. Slightly more room that’s the Enclave, same engine, nice looking. Only thing I question is the start and stop engine. When you stop, the engine stops and then starts back up when you take your foot off the gas. I know you get used to it, but wonder if anyone has had technical issues with it. I like the car, like the pricing as well.

Anyone drive any of these and have input on others?

Wife won’t drive a Tahoe or bigger. I already ya e a Yukon XL anyways. She likes the minivan room, so the Enclave and Traverse seem like the next best option.
