So the wife is done shopping for homes (doesn't like old and all the new builds are the same) and we have decided to build new. We want to have design input and would like to demo our royal oak rental and use that lot. Has anybody done this before that can provide insight. How long it took? Did you start with an architect? Buy prints from the internet? Thanks much for any help, input and recs.
