i haven't really followed boxing since the tyson/holyfield/lewis heavyweight days, but i paid attention to last week's mayweather/pacquiao fight. watched the replay tonight and agreed with most that it was pretty boring. take nothing away from mayweather because he's obviously the best, but not too interesting to the casual fan.
the alvarez/kirkland fight after, two guys i have no idea about, was so much better! i don't know how you can take punches like that - damn.
and watching those hits in slow motion...wow. roy jones said it himself - last week it was a boxing match, this one week was a fight.
