Did they change S & C Coaches about a year and a half ago? They seemed to be making some nice progress with some much needed strength increases. Now they're getting out hustled and over powered all over the court. It's gotten to be embarrassing.

I agree. May get blasted for it but I think coach b should be evaluated. Great developing underrated guys. Too much reliance on the 3ball and very little on defense.
Very little defense??? You are being very kind - try no defense. I think Beilein is a purist but we are missing pounders inside. We need to find another Jordan Morgan - we seem to have very inept and soft guys on our team. I loved Stauskas, McGary, and Burke because they were not soft - they were tough and we have nobody on our team that is tough. Walton is completely overrated and I wish JB would just come out and say that Caris is done for the year - he has been out 6 weeks and I don't see how he comes back now. Most common injuries heal in 6 weeks and if not they generally take months.
JB really needs to shore up his recruiting...he recruits pure players versus guys that know how to be tough. Basically other then Maryland every good team we have played this year has blown us out - by a LOT!!!
Agreed , and they need to figure out how to find the weight room again.

I hate to say it but I don't think Coach B can hang. It's an extremely difficult task to recruit in this day and age and we had our chance after the Title game run and failed. We need Harbaugh's equivalent in the basketball world. Whom might that be?
I think until Coach B gets over his disdain of rebounding and inside scoring, this kind of thing will continue to happen. He also should realize he's recruiting to UM, not a MAC-level school with his idea that projects will all turn into Stauskas-type players.
Who's the BB recruiting coordinator? Perhaps that's something Hackett/Manuel and Coach B should look into upgrading.
