I haven’t been to the dentist in awhile (years) but figured I’d go because my insurance covers routine visits/cleanings.
My teeth are good for the most part but there is some gum disease. They did the gum depth measuring and it was a bunch of 3-5’s with several 6’s. They explained the treatment which sounded fine but then I got the quote and it’s more than I feel like shelling out right now.
Is the gum disease something I can try and manage at home by getting a top of the line electric tooth brush and brushing more? Or am I screwed and going to have to get that treatment?
