Lots of bourbon threads, and that is where i usually operate, but a good friend who typically has good taste said he has been drinking cognac lately. Told me I should give it a shot.
Asked my buddy to check with his alcohol guy for a recommendation.
He got me a bottle of Camus, VSOP, Borderies. Said it is a good starter. Havent tried it yet.
