Lou Whitaker, Bill Freehan, Mickey Lolich just to name some more deserving Tigers and I'm quite sure there are a lot more out there from other teams that could be named. Baines a career .286 hitter with 384 home runs and a career high BA of .309 and highest ever MVP finish was 9th. But buddies on the committee like Tony Larussa. The committee got it right with Lee Smith this year and Trammell last year but this waters down the HOF IMO
