As a board we've had many disagreements on it and no matter how long posters argue back and forth we will not come to a consensus....heck even those that agree on 90% sometimes argue over the last 10%.
But can we all recognize that the numbers are not only going up but starting to hit some record highs. And that is not just in cases but in hospitalizations and deaths. What our opinions are does not change that.
So I ask board members to do two things:
1) Be respectful of the topic because there is a chance this will have a real life impact on someone here.
2) Do the simple and feasible things to keep yourself and those around you safe. Even if you don't agree with them completely.
Yes, I understand my second ask brings in opinion but I'm not asking anyone to change theirs nor go to extreme measures. Just do the things that really aren't that inconvenient considering the times we are in.
Finally, to the front line workers on this board....my thoughts go out to you and I hope the trends we are seeing reverse themselves quickly.
