As most of you know we here in Houston are frozen. I woke up to a loud pop outside our bedroom windows and a pipe had burst outside. The spigot connection cracked and a small geyser ensued. I even wrapped the damn thing with a beach towel and made sure it was completely covered with tape. Luckily my neighbor is a former plumber and was able to make a temporary fix for us until it warms up to permanently fix it. Thank goodness it wasn’t inside the house. The houses down here aren’t insulated like they are up north.
