It wasn't that long ago, less than eight months, that Ohio State receivers coach Zach Smith was bothered.

A Michigan flyer comparing his resume to U-M passing game coordinator Jedd Fisch made its way to Smith and he posted it with the comment "U mad bro?? #LevelsToThis#IfTheyAintHatingYouAintPoppin" That was followed by OSU's former offensive coordinator Tom Herman backing up his protege with another tweet referring to Fisch.

Now it seems he's interested in Michigan again, in the middle of recruiting season.

On Thursday, he took a few veiled shots at the Wolverines.

The first was clearly aimed at U-M coach Jim Harbaugh and his trademark khakis, which Smith said: "I'm gonna be honest. I'm a big Black Pants guy... Khaki's make it look like you're wearing a diaper. #JustSayin"

The second may have been an overall slam at Michigan in light of running back Derrick Green's struggles and decision to transfer, saying "I bet their faces a lot like they have been for 3 years when the 5-Stars you signed didn't do anything"

Maybe it was referring to another school. Or maybe Green, who was U-M's only five-star Rivals prospect in the class, the No. 1 tailback and No. 8 overall prospect was the prospect that Smith referenced. From Richmond, Va., Green chose Michigan despite being recruited by Ohio State. Rivals.com listed Smith as the OSU recruiter on Green.

Things worked out pretty well for Ohio State in that class, landing tailback Ezekiel Elliott, who led the Buckeyes to the 2014/15 College Football Playoff national title.

The schools are currently battling for a significant recruit, Old Tappan, N.J. athlete Jordan Fuller, who is currently on his visit weekend at U-M. Experts consider Ohio State the favorite but U-M has a number of New Jersey kids on campus this weekend with Fuller.

He must have forgotten Briante Dunn has been on his roster for 3-4 years.

That was a shot at a Tennessee coach. People need to actually do some reading before reporting on stupid crap like this.

It's only the MSU couches that take hits, or is that flames, when it comes to UM? At OSU they just use them to complete their evening street purchases.
