If Harbaugh had a Top 5 Mobile QB that could throw you would be undefeated this year and would have made the playoffs last year. He had is Luck at Stanford and has done everything right, except you can only do so much with the two QB's Michigan has now.

Clemson's QB or FSU QB who got hurt against Alabama is all that is needed. If Michigan had FSU's QB in last years Bowl game Michigan wins by 2 TD's.

We didn't lose to Iowa last year because Speight has little to no mobility.

We didn't lose last night because O'Korn isn't mobile enough.

We lost last night because one team was more prepared, wanted it more, made more plays, and when it mattered outschemed us on both sides of the ball.

You miss my point. I'm not talking just about a QB who is mobile. I'm talking about a top 5 QB is who highly mobile and a very good passer. It makes average coaching look great. They move the chains when other QB's don't. They have that IT factor. Michigan does not have this QB yet. Justin Fields who just committed to Georgia is the type I'm talking about

We will never get that type... most can’t pass the entry requirements for Michigan and the others want us to violate NCAA regulations in some way for their services. At bare minimum, they want guaranteed starting /playing time freshman year and JH will not say that in his meritocracy program .

That's fine but a lot of teams would greatly increase their chances to contend with Jabrill Peppers, Leveon Bell, an amazing left or right tackle.

Unless you are Barry Sanders, and even then, all of football success starts with the OL first and the DL second.

I will take John O'Korn with the best OL in college football vs. Trace McSorley with the worst OL in college football.(pretty much where we are statistically...again)
