not long ago we told you it wasn't out of the question that Michigan could take two more in 2016 if it worked out. That was because one of the high school coaches of a 2016 U-M was looking at said, "they have to see what Kam Chatman is going to do." It seemed clear Kam was made clear of his challenge in earning playing time on this team.
Some kids want to stay ... their parents want them to seek better opportunities, etc. I'm not sure that's what's in play here, but it's certainly possible. Regardless, this isn't as out of left field as some might assume.
